Free For the Taking
“Must go.” A time commitment that no longer held interest. “You
load and haul away.” No discussion necessary. “Take one or all.” An unplanned
litter: cute but unwanted. “Moving and don’t want to bring it.” If you left a
child, that would be child abuse. “Just come and get it.” Or it will be left in
the woods to fend for itself. “Free.” Because someone else doesn’t want to feed
it anymore.
